This camp begins at 7:30AM at the Ajax Memorial Outdoor Pool, and ends at 5:30PM at the Ajax Community Center. Athletes will train in the pool three times each day. Athletes will also take part in running, dryland training, yoga, boxing, video analysis and flexibility training. This camp will be offered for 4 weeks in August. The goal for those attending should be to start their season in "mid season condition" in September. Athletes that expect to have a "big" season should get started early and attend this camp! Attendees should be prepared to work harder than they have ever worked. This camp is geared toward swimmers 12 and over. Younger swimmers will have to bring their very best to the table in order to keep up.
This half day training camp will run over three weeks in July 2013. Athletes will begin at 7:30AM at the Ajax Memorial Outdoor Pool, and finish at 1:30PM. Athletes will swim twice each day, as well as take part in running, dryland training, yoga, boxing, rock climbing and video work. Athletes should have competitive swimming experience. This camp is geared toward athletes aged 12 and over. Those that are below the age of 12 should register "at their own risk"! Coach Matt will run this camp with assistants.
