AAC's Zach Fedak travelled to Portland, Oregon this past weekend
to compete for Team Ontario at the 2009 Paul Bergen International.
The meet attracts the top 18 and Under swimmers from North America
and around the world, and is considered one of the top age group
meets of the season.
Fedak, fresh off attending the Swimming Canada Junior National
Sprint Freestyle Camp in BC this November, lowered his best time in
4 out of 5 events, making second swims in all 5 of his races. Fedak
placed 11th in the 100FR (51.90), 6th in the 50FR (23.65), 7th in
the 50FLY (25.71), 9th in the 200FR (1:53.12) and 11th in the
100FLY (57.04). Fedak also participated in 3 relays that placed in
the Top 5.
